Razor-Sharp Els Blanks Ft. Polk South Monday, August 29th , 2044 Westwood hurler Joop Els put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks with a 10-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 6 hits with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Ft. Polk South manager John Anderson told reporters after the game. So far this year Els has made 18 starts, tossed 117.1 innings, struck out 57 batters and walked 37.
