SAA Top Skipper is Wood of Virginia Beach Saturday, October 8th , 2044 Ralph Wood, skipper of the Virginia Beach Whales, was voted 2044 USSL Double A Manager of the Year and accepted the award earlier today. He guided Virginia Beach to first place in the Silver AA with a 66-36 record. "I'm very happy about this," he said at the press conference, "But I'm more happy about what my boys did on the field. They battled their butts off for me all year. They should get the credit." |
