Strickland Wins Award for SAA Dominance Thursday, October 6th , 2044 He may only be 23, but Jeffrey Strickland of the Athletic Club KC Academy has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the USSL Double A. The reliever was today named the SAA Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2044. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 7 saves in 41 relief appearances and 68 strikeouts in 68 innings. He had a record of 1-2 to go with his 1.85 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Kyle Collins of the Ithaca Fighting Imps finished second in voting, while Ben Hankins of the Gulf Coast Turbeaus finished third.
