USSL Double A Names Top Player Monday, September 12th , 2044 21-year-old Roy Berriman made a few Ithaca headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 5 hits in 8 at-bats to put up a .625 average. Berriman collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. To date this season Berriman is hitting .302 with 19 home runs. |
