Pedro Píaz Wins SAA Trophy Monday, August 22nd , 2044 So far in his young career, Pedro Píaz has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Athletic Club KC Academy second baseman hit at a torrid .375 clip as he collected 9 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Currently Píaz has 9 home runs and a .282 batting average. |
