Player of the Week: MacGregor of the Turbeaus Monday, August 8th , 2044 23-year-old Darrell MacGregor made a few Gulf Coast headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 19 at-bats to put up a .632 average. MacGregor collected no home runs, 3 RBIs and scored 2 runs. For the season MacGregor is hitting .341, batted in 44 runs with 8 home runs and 48 runs scored. |
