Red-Hot Sims SAA Player of the Week Monday, July 18th , 2044 The baseball must have looked as big as a balloon to Bob Sims of Ithaca last week. The third baseman had quite a 6-game stretch and today he was named the USSL Double A Player of the Week. Sims delivered 10 hits in 22 at-bats to hit .455 with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs. For the season Sims is batting .246 with 32 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 16 times and batted in 20. |
