Asheville Starter Wins June's Pitcher Award Friday, July 1st , 2044 There's something about a young rookie winning the M3L Double A Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Cy Dickson, a 21-year-old starter for the Asheville Highlanders. In June, he topped off the month with a 3-1 mark and 2.16 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 33.1 innings, fanned 21 and held opposing teams to a .207 average. This season-to-date Dickson has 4 wins and 2 losses and a 2.41 ERA. |
