Farmers Lose García for Season Saturday, August 20th , 2044 José García has to call it a season. The Lancaster Farmers third baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Billings Polar Bears and will not play again this year according to club doctors. García was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken bone in the elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months. So far this season García is batting .286 with 16 home runs. |
