Custello on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, August 1st , 2044 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week Al Custello of the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Custello rocked opposing pitching for a .448 average (13-for-29), 2 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. Custello is presently hitting at a .306 pace with 16 home runs and 50 RBIs. He has played in 69 games and scored 37 times. |
