Hayman to Give Up on Baseball, Pursue Hoop Dreams Monday, November 7th , 2044 Marc Hayman has decided to quit baseball and pursue a basketball career. The Humpbacks center fielder, who was a standout point guard in college, was drafted in the 2nd round of the pro basketball draft three years ago by New York, but chose to play baseball instead. Unfortunately, his career has stalled in the minors and Hayman says he's ready for another career change. "Baseball will always be my first love, but I just don't see myself having the same amount of success as I would playing basketball." According to pro basketball rules, Hayman is now considered a free agent and is therefore eligible to sign with any team. |
