Red Pandas End Gabriel's Streak Friday, June 3rd , 2044 The 23-game hitting streak of Ramón Gabriel has come to an end. The Baton Rouge Brass third baseman went 0-for-4 today in his team's 12-4 loss to the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Brass Field. "It's not just Ramón who came up short today," Brass manager Jarred Smith said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." This year Gabriel is hitting .324 with no home runs. |
