Martínez and Harris Fight, Get Suspended Thursday, June 2nd , 2044 Enrique Martínez of the Vermont Lake Monsters and Jim Harris of the Port Huron Blitzkrieg will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Lake Monsters-Blitzkrieg game at Monster Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Martínez and Harris will begin serving them soon. This year Martínez is batting .356 with 3 home runs and 16 RBIs. This year Harris has no saves in 2 relief appearances with a 0-2 record and 6.11 ERA. |
