Huggins Scoops up 3AAA Top Hurler Award Tuesday, October 11th , 2044 The spotlight today is on Jason Huggins of the Vermont Lake Monsters. He was named the top pitcher in the M3L Triple A and will be honored with the 2044 Outstanding Pitcher Award. Huggins compiled an impressive 10-2 won-lost mark to capture this year's honor. In 117.2 innings of work and 19 starts, the Lake Monsters star struck out 96, while giving up 101 hits and 16 walks. He limited opposing batters to a .232 average. He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 12. Kyle Horton of the Austin Black Mambas finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Zuo-lin Liang of the Salt Lake City Buzz finished third with 1 first place vote.
