Alemán Socks it to Nolensville 3 Times
Tuesday, September 13th , 2044
The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Nolensville Knights today.
Milton second baseman Guillermo Alemán tripled up on the home runs to propel the Dogfish Head to the 7-1 win at Nolensville Park.
"We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Nolensville manager Juan Canó said. "Alemán hit the heck out of the ball."
In addition to the homers, Alemán collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and scored 4 runs.
"Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings."
Guillermo Alemán hit a solo-shot off George Battle in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ken French in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Ján Ïtor in the 9th.
For the season Alemán has hit .315 with 14 home runs and 56 RBIs. He has played in 95 games and scored 69 times.
