Blitzkrieg Nick Campbell Down and Out for Year Sunday, September 4th , 2044 The news is bad in Port Huron. The Blitzkrieg have lost the services of closer Nick Campbell for the rest of the season due to a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Campbell was injured in a recent game with the Baton Rouge Brass while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 12 months. Currently Campbell has no saves. In 14 relief appearances he has hurled 58.2 innings, struck out 45 and issued 29 walks with a 0-5 record. The Port Huron reliever has recorded a 5.06 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .261 when he is on the mound. |
