3AAA's #1 Starter is Chesnutt Monday, August 1st , 2044 It was a monstrous July for the M3L Triple A Pitcher of the Month award winner, Arlen Chesnutt of the Port Huron Blitzkrieg. He put up some mighty scary numbers. Chesnutt recorded 4 wins and no losses in 4 starts. Throwing a total of 28.1 innings, he yielded 20 hits, mowed down 23 on strikes, gave up 9 walks and put up a solid ERA of 2.86 in a stellar month on the mound. Thus far this season, Chesnutt has worked 38.1 innings with 27 strikeouts en route to a 5-0 record and a 2.35 ERA. |
