DeHart Grabs 3L Reliever of the Year Award
Tuesday, November 1st , 2044
When Tom DeHart jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs.
The Nova Scotia Leviathan closer turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the Menard's Third League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2044.
His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 37 saves in 49 relief appearances, 84 strikeouts in 55.1 innings and only 30 walks. He had a record of 4 wins and 1 loss to go with his 1.95 ERA.
"I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said.
Terry Lesage of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished second in voting, while Ramón Barrueco of the Panama City Piranhas finished third.
