Best Player Named by Menard's Third League Tuesday, November 1st , 2044 Oasiz Wiesblatt took Menard's Third League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 26. For his spectacular campaign, the Panama City Piranhas star has been named the 2044 Menard's Third League Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the left fielder. On the season he compiled a .349 batting average to go with a .476 on-base percentage. The native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania also added 17 doubles, 2 triples, 24 home runs, 70 RBIs and 91 runs scored. Jared Schneider of the Buckhead Bowties finished second in voting, while Keaton Kringlen of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished third. |
