Kringlen Hits in 35 Consecutive Games
Friday, September 23rd , 2044
Keaton Kringlen continued his streak at The Tank today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Thunder Bay left fielder was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 35 games. The Northern Lions BC were not as fortunate, losing 8-1 to the Panama City Piranhas.
"Kringlen was hitting everything we threw at him," said Panama City manager Brian Talamante. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Keaton Kringlen singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th.
Kringlen is presently hitting at a .349 pace with 36 home runs, 76 RBIs and has scored 75 times.
