Keaton Kringlen has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 27-year-old Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC left fielder extended his streak today to 34 games, going 2-for-3 as Thunder Bay got the best of the Detroit Elite at Great Northern Field, 6-3.
"Keaton has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Northern Lions BC manager Scott Williams said. Keaton Kringlen flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Arlen Chesnutt in the 5th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.
So far this season Kringlen is hitting .350 with 36 home runs, 76 RBIs and 75 runs scored. He has 142 hits in 406 at-bats and a .420 OBP.
