Kringlen Runs Hit String to 33 Straight Games

Keaton Kringlen, left fielder for the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 33 games with 1 hit in his club's 9-5 victory today over the Detroit Elite at Great Northern Field today.
"Not the outcome we wanted," Detroit manager Dustin Hewitt said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Keaton Kringlen doubled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th.
Posting a .347 batting average to date, Kringlen has 35 home runs and 74 RBIs.
