Kringlen's Hit Streak Soars to 31 Games
Sunday, September 18th , 2044
Chalk up another one for Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC left fielder Keaton Kringlen. He now has hit in 31 straight games. Kringlen went 2-for-5 today's game at Nashville Stadium but saw his club defeated 8-7 by the host Nashville Outlaws.
"Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Northern Lions BC manager Scott Williams said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Keaton Kringlen flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ramón Flores in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
Kringlen has a .348 average and a .418 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 137 hits, 35 home runs and driven in 74 runs.
