Top SL Reliever Honored Tuesday, November 1st , 2044 2044 was a year to remember for Urs Ehles. The San Mateo Dirty Reds reliever was the owner of a 2.28 ERA this season over 71 innings of work. He made 49 relief appearances and had 15 saves, 90 strikeouts, 19 walks and a record of 8 wins and 3 losses. He's also now got some hardware, as the 32-year-old has been named the United States Silver League Reliever of the Year Award winner. "It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said. Magnus Belli of the Colorado Billy Goats finished second in voting, while Dan Smith of the Athletic Club KC finished third. |
