Vibes Kim Gets No-Hitter Friday, July 1st , 2044 It was a fantastic day for Rocky Mountain Vibes starter Byung-hyun Kim and a lousy day for the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. The Rocky Mountain hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Seahawks, as the Vibes cruised to a 3-0 win. When it was all over, Kim was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Kim said later. He rang up 12 strikeouts and allowed 3 walks while shutting Myrtle Beach down at Bellevue Field. So far this season Kim has 3 wins and 2 losses and a 2.51 ERA. View Boxscore View Game Log |
