Red-Hot Rampage Reaps PA Reward Monday, September 5th , 2044 24-year-old Nicholas Colling made a few Myrtle Beach headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Single A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 30 at-bats to put up a .433 average. Colling collected 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 5 runs. For the season, Colling is hitting at a .290 clip with 8 home runs, 27 RBIs and has scored 27 runs. He has 56 hits, 15 walks and a .349 on-base percentage. |
