League Suspends Ortega and Peña for Brawl Saturday, July 30th , 2044 Salvador Ortega of South Beach and Manuel Peña of Chicago were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Ortega will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Peña was given 9 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This season Ortega has hit at a .167 clip and produced 2 runs batted in, no home runs and 3 runs. On the season, Peña is batting .287 with 5 home runs and 15 RBIs. He has played in 41 games. |
