SA Star of the Week Picked Monday, September 5th , 2044 Valerio Salviati made quite a splash in the USSL Single A this past week. The Washington Generals center fielder drilled opposing pitchers for 9 hits in 25 at-bats to roll up a .360 batting average and the USSL Single A Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. In the current season, Salviati has put up a .296 batting average with 59 hits, 12 home runs, 36 RBI and scored 29 runs. |
