Stevens Top SA Pitcher in August Thursday, September 1st , 2044 Over the past month Claude Stevens has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USSL Single A. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Kent Comets posted 5-0 mark and a 1.00 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 36 innings, permitted 21 hits and fanned 38 batters. In 19 starts this season Stevens has chalked up a 10-6 record and a 3.39 ERA. |
