Grim Eliminated from Playoff Contention Wednesday, August 31st , 2044 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Grim Reapers. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Reapers reliever Shusui Suzuki. Grim last appeared in the postseason in 2029. This is their 15th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 20 times in their 24-year history. Grim has won the SL A Championship 2 times in their history. |
