Salviati Punishes SA Pitchers This Week Monday, July 11th , 2044 USSL Single A pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Valerio Salviati, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .467 for the week to win the SA Player of the Week Award. The Washington center fielder cracked 7 hits in 15 at-bats, no home runs, drove in 2 runs and scored 3 times. Thus far this season in 13 games Salviati is batting .339 with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 19 hits in 56 at-bats. |
