Airmen Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 21st , 2044 It certainly could have been worse this year for the Alameda Airmen, but that does not mean it was a season to remember. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Airmen have missed the playoffs 22 times in their 24 years as a M3L Single A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 8th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2035. In the last 10 seasons, the Airmen have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
