St. Louis Coeur Reliever Fell Through Barn Roof - Out 8 Weeks Wednesday, December 7th , 2044 A do-it-yourself carpentry project went awry for reliever Butch Cummings, who reportedly crashed through the roof of a barn at his home in Chattanooga, Tennessee, breaking a rib and sustaining three non-displaced fractures in his vertebrae. The St. Louis Coeur 34-year-old right--hander is expected to be laid up for close to eight weeks. He is hoping to compete for a spot in a revamped St. Louis Coeur' bullpen, but the injury may pose a significant setback to those plans. |
