Rodríguez Grabs PL Top Pitcher Trophy Saturday, October 1st , 2044 Carlos Rodríguez has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in September and stole away with the United States Premier League Pitcher of the Month award. The Lighthouse bullpen ace collected 7 saves and 17 strikeouts in 11 innings, holding the opposition to a .273 average and posting a 1.64 ERA and a 2-0 record. For the year Rodríguez has earned 25 saves, made 42 relief appearances, fanned 41 hitters in 43 innings and posted an ERA of 4.40 and a 4-2 record. |
