Bad News for Baltimore, Tetsu Matsumoto Hurt Wednesday, August 3rd , 2044 Disappointing news today for Baltimore Bullets fans. Tetsu Matsumoto was hurt running the bases in their game against the Charleston Battery and has a strained posterior cruciate ligament. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return, but said it was likely the injury will keep the first baseman out at least 3 weeks. This year Matsumoto has collected a .270 batting average to date with 77 hits in 285 at-bats, 41 RBIs, 19 home runs and scored 36 times. He has played in 72 games. |
