MacMurchy Best 3R Starter in June Wednesday, July 1st, 2043 Archie MacMurchy hated to see June turn to July. And who could blame him? The 20-year-old hurler piled up 4 wins and no losses for the Beavers last month and won the M3L Rookie Pitcher of the Month award for his efforts. MacMurchy stymied opposing batters on 23 base hits and a .213 batting average. He rang up 31 strikeouts in 30 innings of work, surrendered 8 walks and fashioned a sparkling 1.50 ERA. To this point in the season MacMurchy has 4 wins and 2 losses and a 2.39 ERA. |
