Maine's Anderson Hurls His Way to Award Monday, August 31st, 2043 Arthur Anderson seems to put youthful exuberance into every pitch he throws and last week he threw up numbers that even the oldest of veterans would look at with envy. That's why the 20-year-old hurler was chosen the M3L Rookie Player of the Week Award. Anderson notched 2 wins for the Maine Sea Dogs. He finished the week with 17 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.71 while holding the opposition to a .159 average. This season Anderson has compiled a 9-5 mark, 3.11 ERA and made 21 starts. |
