Rey on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, July 13th, 2043 Luis Rey made quite a splash in the USSL Rookie this past week. The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople right fielder drilled opposing pitchers for 7 hits in 16 at-bats to roll up a .438 batting average and the USSL Rookie Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. In 2043 Rey has hit at a .238 clip with 53 hits, 10 home runs, 35 RBIs and has scored 23 times. |
