Beaumont-Plattsburgh Free-for-All Gets 2-Game Suspensions Friday, September 4th, 2043 It was quite a row yesterday at The Target. The Crossbeaus Albert Monday and the Puffer Fish Mike Wheeler backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Monday and Wheeler were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 2-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. So far this year Monday is hitting .229 with 3 home runs. So far this season Wheeler has picked up no saves in 8 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 6-7 won-lost mark with a 4.99 ERA and fanned 96 batters in 92 innings. |
