Injury Sidelines Beau Grant for Season Thursday, September 3rd, 2043 The season is finished for Beau Grant of the Shady Side Zoomies. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Zoomies starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Beaumont Crossbeaus. Team doctors said it would take at least 11-12 months to heal. To date Grant is 3-4 in 5 starts with a 5.66 ERA and has 36 strikeouts in 35 innings. |
