Postseason Bid Ends for Plattsburgh Sunday, August 30th, 2043 Postseason baseball won't be coming to Plattsburgh this year. The quest for the playoffs ended for the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish today, as they were mathematically eliminated from contention. "Not the first time I've experienced this," said Puffer Fish manager Terry King, "but it never gets fun." The Puffer Fish have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 11 years as a USSL Rookie franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 12th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2030. |
