Sang Named Top Reliever for PR Wednesday, September 23rd, 2043 Yang-cheng Sang was a calming influence out of the Bethlehem Angel Kitties bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 21-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USPL Rookie Reliever of the Year Award for 2043. The Liaoyuan, China native won the award with 13 saves in 26 relief appearances, 65 strikeouts in 41 innings and a record of 2-1 to go with his 1.10 ERA. He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10. Liu-liang Liu of the Long Island Ducks finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Yong-zhan Long of the Memphis Music finished third.
