Fort Knox Clinches Wild Card Monday, September 7th, 2043 The Fort Knox Centennial may not go on to win a PL R Championchip, but the team celebrated like they had won a championship tonight after securing a wild card spot. "We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said starting pitcher Arturo Álvarez. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that." It did indeed take a tough battle and with their record at 59-37, the Centennial will now look to bring the 3rd PL R Championchip championship to Fort Knox. |
