Rams Lose Colmenaris for Season
Tuesday, August 11th, 2043
The doctors have spoken and Luis Colmenaris of the Ladue Rams didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old second baseman is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Colmenaris sustained his season-ending injury during the Redwood Rhinos game yesterday at The Zoo. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while colliding with a player at a base. Today the Ladue medical staff reported Colmenaris had a concussion and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5-6 months.

Colmenaris is batting .298 this season in 74 games with 4 home runs, 39 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 87 hits in 292 at-bats.
