PAA's #1 Player, Watanabe of Nuevo Mexico Monday, June 15th, 2043 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Ryutaro Watanabe of the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Watanabe rocked opposing pitching for a 1.000 average (4-for-4), 2 home runs and 2 RBIs to come away with the award. For the year Watanabe is hitting .291 with 6 home runs. His stats include 24 runs batted in and 18 runs scored. |
