Year Ends for Ryutaro Watanabe in Nuevo Mexico Tuesday, June 9th, 2043 The season is apparently over for Ryutaro Watanabe. The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis medical staff informed the club that the shortstop will be out at least 9-10 months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Watanabe was hurt in the game against Mercer Island while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. A look at his current stats shows Watanabe with a .291 average, 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has played in 31 games. |
