Northville's Schaller PAA Top Pitcher Tuesday, September 1st, 2043 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Ari Schaller, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Northville Eclipse closer, 22, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .195 average and walked away with the USPL Double A Pitcher of the Month award for August. Schaller posted a 3-0 mark and a 2.45 ERA in 10 relief appearances. In 11 innings, he had 5 saves, 11 strikeouts, and 6 walks. This season Schaller has rung up 15 saves. He is carrying a 4-3 record with a 3.41 ERA in 37 innings pitched. |
