SAA Manager of the Year Award Goes to Drake Thursday, October 8th, 2043 Bernie Drake, skipper of the Virginia Beach Whales, was voted 2043 USSL Double A Manager of the Year and accepted the award earlier today. He guided Virginia Beach to first place in the Silver AA with a 62-40 record. "I'm very happy about this," he said at the press conference, "But I'm more happy about what my boys did on the field. They battled their butts off for me all year. They should get the credit." |
