Virginia Beach Whales Win Top Spot in Silver AA Monday, September 7th, 2043 It's a banner year for the Virginia Beach Whales, they have won the Silver AA. "There's so much pride in our room and on our roster, anything but a division title wouldn't have been acceptable," said right fielder Todd Walker. "In the playoffs we'll just have to take it one day at a time and keep battling." The Whales this year have battled to a 59-37 mark, which is good for the club's 3rd Silver AA title. "I'm extremely proud of my players and look forward to seeing what we can do in the postseason," said manager Bernie Drake. |
