Blimps Mascola Chosen July's Best in SAA Saturday, August 1st, 2043 Over the past month Lance Mascola has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USSL Double A. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Akron Blimps posted 5-1 mark and a 2.21 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 40.2 innings, permitted 35 hits and fanned 15 batters. This season to date Mascola has a record of 12 wins and 2 losses with a 2.91 ERA, has appeared in 16 games and struck out 59 in 105.1 innings. |
